Attended UM medical school from 1992 to 1997. He then joined the Master’s Programme for Orthopaedic training and graduated in 2004.
Since then, he has served at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang, which is one of the busiest Orthopaedic Department in the country. Catering for a huge spectrum of diverse conditions which has benefited Dr Chang tremendously, in his 6-year stay, both in trauma and elective orthopaedic surgeries.
To strengthen his exposure and experience, he attended an AO Trauma Fellowship in Innsbruck, Austria in 2006 and 3 years later, spent 6 months in Queen Mary Hospital and Duchess of Kent Children Hospital in Hong Kong for Spine Fellowship training.
He is also trained in disability assessment as a Certified Medical Impairment Assessor under NIOSH.
