Egg, Embryo and Sperm Freezing

Cryopreservation, also known as ‘freezing’, is done when there are more eggs or embryos than are required in a cycle. Extra embryos can be stored for future attempts without the need to repeat ovarian stimulation or egg retrieval.

Sperm freezing greatly benefits couples in cases where husbands are unavailable for IVF or ICSI attempts. It can reduce the cost, inconvenience, and even the emotional turmoil felt by couples throughout the 3-4 weeks of procedure.
