Earlier today, the Anti-Corruption Program and Pledge of Integrity Ceremony (IBR) was held by the Selangor State Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at Avisena Women’s & Children’s Specialist Hospital with the management and employees of Avisena Group. Attendees included Avisena Group’s Board Chairman, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof, Deputy Chairman, Dato’ Dr Omar Abdul Hamid, and 56 employees from different departments who participated in this program.

The program began with a briefing on offences under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 by PPj Azuan bin Adzhar, Head of the Selangor State MACC’s Legal Unit. The IBR ceremony was then led by Elisa Nadia Omar, Head of Human Resources, Legal, and Risk Management, and witnessed by PKPj Ridzuan bin Abd Malik, Deputy Director (Prevention) of the Selangor State MACC.

Furthermore, the event continued with a speech from Datuk Fazlur Rahman K.M.M Ebrahim, Chairman of Audit and Risk Management Committee, Avisena Group. He highlighted that by fostering a sense of teamwork between management and the Board Members, it is possible to ensure that all administrative actions contribute to the creation of an integrated, trustworthy, and ethical management system.

Datuk Fazlur also mentioned that “in line with Avisena’s core value of Integrity, which emphasizes ethical conduct, honesty, professionalism, and trustworthiness, we are committed to doing the right thing even in challenging situations. It is essential that all Avisena employees understand this principle and consistently apply it in both their professional and personal lives”.

The event concluded with the delivery of MACC campaign materials by PKPj Ridzuan bin Abd Malik to Elisa Nadia Omar.
