Elina Nadia
Omar

A graduate in Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) from Deakin University, Melbourne, Elina started her career as a Management Trainee with HSBC Amanah Malaysia in 2010, spending her first year managing the Business Banking clients encompassing SMEs from various industries.

For the major part of her career in HSBC, she was responsible for co-managing relationships and banking facilities for Corporate Banking clients involving public-listed companies, GLCs, state-owned companies, as well as large local and international corporate groups.

Elina has recently completed the Leadership in Medicine: Southeast Asia Program designed for emerging healthcare leaders by Harvard Medical School. She currently oversees business developments and expansion of the Avisena Specialist Hospital as well as the Avisena Renal Care.

Ahmad Tazilan
Mokhtar

As a charted accountant and financer, Ahmad Tazilan has managed diversified activities in construction, property development, plantation, road maintenance, manufacturing, trading activities and international arms. He later gained even more exposure in KUB Malaysia Bhd, before joining Avisena Specialist Hospital in December 2010 as CFO.

Ahmad Tazilan obtained a degree in Accountancy from University of Malaya in 1996. And obtained his membership from Malaysian Institute of Accountants as a Chartered Accountant while working for Azman, Wong, Salleh & Co.

Mazidah
Umar

After positive stints at Columbia Asia Hospital and KPJ Hospital, Mazidah Umar joined Avisena Healthcare as Chief Pharmacist and was later promoted to Director of Pharmaceutical Services. On 1 January 2017, she took on a new role as the Vice President of Operations.

Mazidah Umar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from University of Malaya, a certificate in Healthcare Leadership from University of Cornell and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK.

Elisa Nadia
Omar

Elisa graduated from the University of Reading in 2011 with an LL(B) Hons and subsequently completed her Bar Professional Training Course in 2012. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2012 and enrolled as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2013.

She previously practiced at Messrs Zul Rafique & Partners where she specialised in corporate law and advised numerous corporations and government-linked entities on various corporate exercises including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and debt restructuring as well as banking, securities, finance, and real estate matters.

Elisa is currently pursuing her MBA in Finance at the University of Nottingham.

Mohd Khalil
Abdullah Zawawi

Upon graduating from University of Malaya, Mohd Khalil who also holds a Bachelor in Accounting, did not take long to join a Japanese multinational manufacturing company. Within three short years and upon experiencing different business units within his role in management accounting, he was promoted to a senior position. He then received his official membership from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants as a Chartered Accountant.

Mohd Khalil gained managerial experience and exposure in financial reporting, tax and budgeting in a pharmacy benefit management company as a Finance Manager for three years before joining Avisena as the Head of Finance in 2017. In early 2018, he had been promoted to Group Head of Finance of Avisena Healthcare.

Muhaimin
Ooyub Shafie

We credit Muhaimin for making Avisena Healthcare one of the cleanest and most hospitable hospitals in Malaysia, if not, the region.

As Group Head of Facility Support Services, he is responsible for ensuring that the facilities and infrastructure are well maintained and clean, and all the equipment are in order and fully functional.

His responsibilities also include facilities, biomedical engineering, health, safety and environment, and fleet management.

Muhaimin holds a Master of Science in Facilities Management from UiTM.

Norashikin
Abd Hamid

Norashikin Abd Hamid is the current Group Head for Quality Assurance & Customer Experience at Avisena Healthcare, where she has been employed for over a decade. During her time at the company, she was promoted to the position of Senior Manager of Guest Relations & Front Desk at Avisena Specialist Hospital in 2019, prior to taking on her current role.

Before joining Avisena Healthcare, Norashikin was the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communication & Customer Service at Oratis Rx Sdn.Bhd.

She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with Honours in Marketing in 2004.

Norsilayati
Kamal Ariffin

Norsilayati has been with Avisena Healthcare for over 21 years. She has held several positions at Avisena, namely as a Staff Nurse, Nurse Manager, Senior Manager, Senior Assistant Vice President (Nursing Services Division), Director of Inpatient & Nursing Services and Senior Director of Inpatient Services. Currently, she is the Group Head of Nursing.

Before joining Avisena Healthcare, she was a registered Nurse at University Hospital, Kuala Lumpur. Norsilayati graduated with a Diploma in Nursing (UM) in 1991 and she completed her Bachelor of Nursing Science (Honours) in 2016.

Rosmawati
Osman

This accounting alumni has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Universiti Teknologi Mara and a Master of Business Administration (Accounting) from Universiti Utara Malaysia.

Adding to that is a total of 11 years of work experience as an Auditor, which includes a stint in Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad (CIMA), a subsidiary of UEM Group Bhd.
