CYBERJAYA, 25 NOVEMBER 2022 – Avisena Healthcare, via its subsidiary Avisena East Sdn Bhd, has signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement for a 5-acre land with Cyberview Sdn Bhd, the tech hub developer for Cyberjaya for the development of Avisena Specialist Hospital in Cyberjaya. The expansion will see a substantial boost in our capability to serve our increasing network of local and international patients with latest medical technologies while focusing on patient-centric care.

The signing ceremony was officiated by Dato’ Dr Omar Abd Hamid, Director of Avisena East and Datuk Mohd Najib Dato’ Ibrahim, Managing Director of Cyberview. The ceremony was witnessed by Datuk Fazlur Rahman KMM Ebrahim, Board of Director of Avisena Healthcare and Izatul Arini Mohd Ariff Albakri, Chief Financial Officer of Cyberview.

“We are excited for the acquisition and the expansion of our healthcare facilities. Being strategically located in Cyberjaya, we aim to develop this new hospital to incorporate smart healthcare technologies by collaborating partners in the area”, said Dato’ Dr. Omar in his speech. “With this development in place, we will be creating high-volume of employment opportunities both in clinical and non-clinical professions as this will contribute to the economic growth and development within the surroundings of Cyberjaya,” he added.

Strategically located within 9km to Putrajaya, 29km to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and 36km to Kuala Lumpur, our future proposed development of this multidisciplinary hospital will accommodate 120 beds, 42 specialist suites, 10 HDU, 5 ICU/CCU, 4 operating theatres (1 hybrid), 3 labour rooms and 754 parking lots to cater patients and visitors and it is projected to begin operation in 2027.
