True to our principle of delivering advanced healthcare made personal, our key initiatives have been impactful on both national and personal levels.

Yayasan Avisena

Our very own NGO, has been driving numerous initiatives since 2016. Established to help those in need of assistance and medical aid, the foundation recently sponsored the surgery and medical treatment of a 9-year old recipient who suffered from a left cerebellar tumour with obstructive hydrocephalus.

Klinik Bergerak Sutera (KBS)

Our mobile clinic service aids rural communities without the means to visit healthcare facilities. Recent programmes include free health screening, treatment of wounds, distribution of medication and RTK Covid-19 tests at temporary evacuation centres during the 2021 flash floods affecting the Klang Valley.

Avisena Food Bank Programme

The Covid-19 pandemic left many without a sustainable source of income to support their families. To help reduce the burden, we’ve provided some much-needed relief to affected communities by organising an 8-week Food Bank distribution programme, benefitting 1160 affected families.

Covid-19 pandemic assistance

Avisena Healthcare participated in the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) and the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids), playing our role in an initiative that has successfully protected the Malaysian population.

Decanting of non Covid-19 patients

Our hospitals collaborated with the Ministry of Health by accommodating non-covid patients to make room for urgent Covid-19 cases in government hospitals. In this programme, both Avisena Specialist Hospital and Avisena Women’s & Children’s Specialist Hospital accepted and treated patients from various government hospitals.
