MHS Aviation Berhad (MHS), Avisena Healthcare Sdn Bhd (Avisena), and Kreatif Apps Sdn Bhd (Kreatif Apps) have joined forces in a strategic collaboration to explore the potential of using drones for medical deliveries in urban areas. Through a successful proof-of-concept (POC) flight, it has been demonstrated that unmanned aerial systems (UAS)/drones can effectively transport medical supplies, including medication in urban areas.

In just 6 minutes, the drone flew 2.9 kilometres from Avisena Specialist Hospital to a patient’s residence, outperforming the 11-minute car journey covering 4.1 kilometres. MHS and Avisena prioritized strong connectivity, medication protection, and safety measures to ensure privacy and public security. Avisena aims to integrate this groundbreaking drone delivery service into their offerings, including TrueCare2U, to provide swift response and efficient healthcare solutions.
