Avisena Specialist Hospital, a private hospital in Shah Alam, has recently made a generous donation of 20 units of hospital beds to two elderly care centres nearby. The donation is part of its CSR initiative to support the health and well-being of the elderly who need special and comfortable care.

The beneficiaries are Rumah Jagaan & Rawatan Orang Tua Al-Ikhlas in Puchong and Pusat Jagaan Mahmudah Malaysia in Semenyih, each receiving 10 units of hospital beds. These beds will greatly improve the quality of life for the 58 bedridden residents out of the 89 residents in both care centres.

Dr Razman Abd Karim, the CEO of Avisena Specialist Hospital, said that the hospital is committed to helping those in need, especially in health aspects. He added that the hospital beds donated have been carefully inspected and maintained to ensure they are safe and suitable for use by the care centres.

The donation was delivered by Puan Jamilah, the Manager of Avisena Foundation, a charitable foundation by Avisena Healthcare that conducts health-related CSR activities.
